Having recently moved to Bluffton, I was searching for an Orthopedic physician. I have now seen Dr. Gavin 3 times over the past few months for two different orthopedic issues. First, his support staff are very nice, intelligent, and supportive. Second, Dr. Gavin is incredibly nice and carefully listens and asks questions, he's giving you his undivided attention. Third, he's caring and honest in his response to one's medical condition and treatment strategy. Finally, I feel that Dr. Gavin, and his staff, are a highly valued treatment center, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking orthopedic care.

Dr. Gavin is an extremely kind and gentle man. He takes the time to address your concerns and answer all of your questions. I had a total knee replacement one month ago, and could not have hoped for a better result. His staff is also terrific.

Dr. Gavin and his staff were incredible. Dr. Gavin took time to listen and understand what was going on and then spent time asking lots of questions and talking through next steps. I would highly recommend he and his staff.

Took a while to get back to see Dr. Gavin but once there he was awesome. Very thorough with questions. Very thorough explanations. Definitely recommend any ortho issues to go see Dr. Gavin!! Church friend had recommended and I am thankful he did. The rest of the staff was friendly and courteous as well.

Highly recommend Gavin Orthopaedics! After crushing my thumb over the weekend in a door, come Monday morning I called a number of Orthopedic offices in the area and did some research. Gavin was highly rated AND had the benefit of offering a walk-in clinic allowing me to be seen same day. I actually drove an hour to their offices and was not disappointed! Even though Mondays are busy for them, the wait time was reasonable and they kept me informed of where I was in the queue. X-rays were taken on the spot and the PA who saw me (Derek) was friendly, thorough, and answered all my questions. They provided me with a splint, pain reliever prescription and a follow up plan. Fast, efficient and thorough. Very impressed.

Treatment

For many patients, the best approach may be to start with a musculoskeletal specialist, such as Dr. Gavin who can initiate a customized treatment plan.
